the headline president obama is not pleased. he speaks about the issue of guns and tries to express his understanding of the cultural divide over the issue of guns. calling it the reality of rural versus urban divide on the issue. he says if you grew up and your dad gave you a hunting rifle when you were 10 and you spent the day with him and your uncles and ta became part of the family tradition you can see why you would be protective of that. he says advocates of gun control have to listen more. he also speaks about the fact that he has been skeet shooting all the time at camp david daying he does that with guests. i think that is new information for a lot of people. the question is have you ever fired a gun before? that's not where he finishes off. he fires off on other topics, as well, expressing his impatience with political enemies of sorts some republicans who he he thinks are unwilling to compromise and with the media that too often goes to the sides and never looks for the middle ground a it addresses them, as well. and he weighs in on the issue of football. he said if he had a

from illinois brought a bi-partisan element to the obama administration. the president issued a statement thanking lahood for his dedication, hard work, and years of service to the american people. secretary lahood said he'll stay on the job until his replacement is confirmed. it took 16 doctors an 13 hours of surgery but an iraq war vet who lost both his arms in combat has a new lease on life. brendan marrocco is just the 7th person in the united states to undergo a rare double arm transplant surgery. he lost his arms and legs in 2009 when an armored vehicle he was driving was hit by a roadside explosion in iraq. marrocco says the surgery is like a new beginning for his life. it has given me a lot of hope for the future. i feel like i am getting a second chance to start over after i got hurt. the complicated surgery done at johns hopkins hospital involved taking limbs from a deceased person and attatching them to morrocco. he does not have full feeling in his new arms, but he can already text and comb his hair. morrocco says he is most looking forward to driving his dodge ch

that this is the main vehicle. the gang of eight bill will be the main vehicle with president obama's backing. if you need an example of why republicans need to get on this issue, nevada started the 2012 election as a swing state. by the end of it neither party was spending money there because the hispanic community was so aligned with the democratic candidate that mitt romney couldn't compete. it went the way of new mexico in 2008, and i think republicans recognized that this is a first step. simply signing on to immigration reform doesn't mean they're going to win 70% of the hispanic vote, but they need to get this issue behind them because electorally speaking they would struggle for a decade or two decades if they don't. sxwro we've seen a mood swing. republicans know they have to get right on this, and this is why you're seeing this coalition come together so quickly. there's support for it. there's a new cbs news poll that shows that a majority, 51%, believe in a path to sit sfwlenship. there's only 24% that say the undocumented immigrant should get out. >> that will be one of the final issues
